Covid-19

ElecMol will take place as planned on site, in presence.

The safety of all participants is our number one priority.  We therefore wish to recall the rules and regulations that will be in force:

  • Access to the scientific event will be subject to the control of a valid “EU Digital COVID Certificate” (called “passe sanitaire” in France, i.e. health pass)
  • Wearing disposable (surgical/N95/FFP2) or reusable (AFNOR S76_001/UNS1) masks will be compulsory in the premises including for vaccinated attendants (for all indoor activities, including conference sessions, breaks and social events)

WHAT IS A "EU COVID Certificate"?

It consists in the presentation (digital or paper format) of health proof, among the following three possibilities:

1) Vaccination, provided that people have a complete vaccination scheme and the necessary time after the final injection:

  • 7 days after the 2nd injection for double injection vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);
  • 28 days after injection for vaccines with a single injection (Johnson & Johnson);
  • 7 days after the injection in people with a history of Covid (1 single injection);

2) The result of a positive PCR or antigenic test attesting the recovery from Covid-19, dating at least 11 days and less than 6 months.

3) Proof of a negative PCR/antigenic test of less than 24 hours.

How to perform a COVID test in France during ElecMol?

Tests can be carried out during your stay in Lyon for ElecMol in a pharmacy located near the convention center. Special slots will be reserved and made available to ElecMol participants. The cost of PCR tests is 43.89 Euros (results usually delivered within 24h), and that of antigenic tests is 25 Euros (results available in 15 to 30 minutes). Those tests are payable in advance.

Vaccines accepted by France are those currently (August 2021) recognized by the European Medical Agency (EMA): Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca/Vaxzevria/Covishield.

How to get a EU COVID Pass?

The COVID pass has been harmonized at European level in July 2021.

The procedure for non-French citizens vaccinated outside of the European Union to obtain the European Health Pass can be found at  “get a EU health Pass

We recommend that all ElecMol participants catch up on additional / specific information from the health agency of their own country.
